2. Weltkrieg, 1943: An der Ostfront, am Abgrund der Apokalypse, stellen sich die Widerstandskämpfer Nathaniel, Vasyl und Magda gegen die Besatzer. Doch der nie enden wollende Nachschub an Soldaten unter der Leitung des gewissenlosen Kommandanten Brandt sichert die deutsche Stellung und somit auch die Durchfahrt von Transportzügen in die Todeslager, in denen der psychotische Lagerarzt entsetzliche Experimente an den Gefangenen durchführt. Seine größte Vorliebe ist es, Vampire aufzuschneiden. Rayne – halb Mensch, halb Vampir – stellt sich auf die Seite der Widerstandskämpfer und gerät in einen blutigen Kampf mit dem teuflischen Kommandanten Brandt. Zunächst ahnt Rayne nicht, dass Brandt sich mit ihrem Blut infiziert hat und eine Armee der Untoten zum Leben erweckt. Rayne und der Widerstand müssen die Vampirtruppen ausschalten, bevor die Untoten nach Berlin gelangen und Hitler zum unsterblichen Diktator krönen.
